Lacey Recreation Complex
John F. Lacey Recreation Complex
The John F. Lacey Recreation Complex is home to 20 youth soccer fields, 2 collegiate soccer fields, 8-plex softball/baseball complex, Kentfield Fields: a 2 field Babe Ruth complex, 8 youth football fields and a new collegiate sized stadium housing football, soccer and track.
In addition to these local entities, MCRF consults and assists with surrounding community recreation projects and events. Some past projects or events include assisting in 2013 RAGBRAI in which Oskaloosa was a stop over community, a Little League concession project in Fremont and a playground project in Bussey. MCRF continues to stand by its mission as a strong advocate for recreation, ensuring its growth and opportunities for all youth in the community. It is our belief that “if you embrace the youth of your community, they will grow to embrace their community.”
